4 weekends in review

The last two weekends I was at Riverssance and then Great Plains. Definitely the highlight of Riverssance was getting my tongue licked at the smoker, by a patron, who's a guy. Basically I was doing my fire eating bit and picked a drunk guy out to be my volunteer, when I suggested he lick my tongue to make sure that there was nothing on it, he did. I got to taste the turkey he'd just been eating, blech!
The highlight of Great Plains was having my beautiful wife in garb for the first time ever. It only took three years! She was gorgeous and now she wants a new outfit every year. I've created a monster...
And finally the next two weekends Rena, rena's parents and I will all be going to Cozumel for ten days from the 14th until the 24th. A nice relaxing time after eight straight weekends of doing fairs. This season was three times as busy as last season and I got my first taste of what's it's like to have months booked at a time, and I'm loving it!

Last Weekend of Pirate Fest

Whew, what a last weekend at the Pirate Fest. Saw some old friends, some repeat fans (who made the very last show of the run a whole heck of a lot of fun) and got to do some fire breathing stunts at Sunday's pub sing. I also broke my records for most tips in one show, most tips in one day and most tips for a two day weekend. Rena even came with me, and we stayed on sunday night and we had a great time with Dustin and Sarah. We even got some new micro dermals done (i got my temples done). I got my teeth whitened on wednesday as well, it hurt. And most importantly, I finally got  my two shows hammered out. They are similarly arranged but have completely different stunts. And I finally got a funny and well structured fire eating bit worked out, it even has a volunteer.

St. Louis Pirate Festival

So this is the first time I have had a blog and the first time I have posted. Never was one for keeping a diary, but I figured some of you guys and gals might like to know what I've been up to. The last two weekends I have been in St. louis for their Pirate Festival. This last Saturday two of the patrons who are friends of mine got married, it's the second Renaissance wedding I have witnessed. The weekend before that Molotov and two of his friends helped me build a fort in my hotel out of the mattresses. I think those were the two highlights of each weekend. And I still have one more weekend of Pirate Festival. I get my teeth whitened on Friday and then I have to pick up Rena from the airport, she went to Mississippi for the week for her job, and then we will both be going this weekend and staying Sunday and hanging out in STL on Monday, so hit us up if you're in the area.
